{"id":693,"date":"2023-11-19T14:44:56","date_gmt":"2023-11-19T14:44:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pranichealingresearch.com\/?p=693"},"modified":"2023-11-19T15:02:07","modified_gmt":"2023-11-19T15:02:07","slug":"evaluation-of-pranic-healing-in-treating-of-smoking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pranichealingresearch.com\/index.php\/2023\/11\/19\/evaluation-of-pranic-healing-in-treating-of-smoking\/","title":{"rendered":"Evaluation of Pranic Healing in Treating of Smoking"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Presenter:&nbsp;<\/strong>Andrea Veronica Garcia Pacheco, MD \u2013 General Practitioner, Cuenca, Ecuador<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objective:&nbsp;<\/strong>To evaluate the efficacy of Pranic Healing in the treatment of smoking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Study Design:<\/strong>&nbsp;This is a quasi-experimental study design with 108 smoking patients (Control Group CG n = 54 and Experimental Group EG n = 54) age 18-65 years of age over 8-month period. &nbsp;Pranic Healing protocols were applied 2-3 sessions per week completing at least 5 sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Results:&nbsp;<\/strong>Experimental Group vs. Control Group (EG mean age = 36 CG mean age = 36; EG males = 42 CG males = 42; EG females = 12 CG females = 12; Level of Nicotine Dependency EG &#8211; Low = 31, Medium 4 and High 19. &nbsp;CG &#8211; Low = 31, Medium 4 and High 19.
